cookie title shown in website

    I am well content with this plugin, but I do have a problem.
    I have made to entries about cookies that are shown in the table on the privacy page. But, the name of the first cookies is also shown in de header of my website. And I don’t mean the header bar that appers asking if I want to accept cookies, I mean the normal header of my theme.
    When I put the cookie in concept status it goes away, but then is also doesn’t appear in the table on the privacy page.

    Does anyone know how I can make sure that the cookie name isn’t displayed in my theme header?

    I’d add a screenshot if I could, but I don’t know how to add that to my post.

    Edit update: The name of the cookie is in the place where before stood the name of the current page. But now the name of the cookie is displayed on every page.

    Hi,

    This isn’t something I can reproduce, and I haven’t heard of this happening before. It sounds like it could be something in one of your header files that is causing the problem rather than the plugin.

    What’s your URL so I can take a look? Happy to take a look and see if I can fix it.

    Update: if you’re talking about your website kemet.nl then it looks like Cookie Law Info working correctly.

    No, that’s not the one. I implemented it there too, but in this case it’s one of my work-related website: http://www.duurzameopleiders.nl
    The name of the cookie ‘google analytics’ is shown in the upper left corner of the header, underneath the logo.

    I don’t know for certain but I suspect it’s something in your wp_head file. I doubt it’s the plugin. If you contact me via http://www.cookielawinfo.com then I will get in touch so you can send me the file. I have very little spare time right now but should be able to at least take a look.

    Incidentally- is this a theme you bought, that somebody wrote for you or one you wrote yourself?

    Forgive me my late reply; I was on a short holiday.

    The theme is called Enfold and it’s one you have to buy.
    I will contact you so I can send you the file(s) you need to see.
