Converting textile markup to HTML in the database (3 posts)

As the last post was entirely ignored, I am inquiring if there is any way to convert posts with "Textile" formatting into plain old HTML. Textile and the built in WYSIWYG editor don't play nicely and I would rather use the built in editor. Hand editing 2000+ posts is a daunting prospect.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This is what I want to do myself. I want to move to markdown.

I guess I could write a script to do it, with the help of the python-textile Debian package.

See this older post for a "do-it-at-your-own-risk" solution: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/48699
