I just installed the PHPMyAd on my account and want to create a couple of tables in MySql. Is it possible to take an MSAccess 2000 table and convert it into an mysql table through PHPMyAdmin? If not, can you suggest another way?

    Thanks,

    Ron

Looks like it -- via export from Access to a CSV file, then importing to MySQL:

    Or maybe this:

Thanks for the links. One question..I do not have mysql installed on my own computer, as I am told that it will not work that well on windows os. Can this be done where I export the access file to a csv file and then upload it into the host-side mysql databsse through PHPMyAdmin?

No idea. Looks like that phpMyAdmin site has forums -- so maybe ask there.

But I know lots of people who run WAMP or XAMPP on Windows with no problems...
