Converting Older Theme to WP 3.0 (navigation/display issues) (3 posts)

I am using a custom designed template for a new site I am building:

    http://seasonalchores.fp144.focalpointhosting.com/

I have used this template before on other sites: http://schmidtlawncare.com/

But for the new site I have installed WP 3.0.4 and two issues have come up right away:

    1) The content entered in the Pages admin does not show up on the page (http://seasonalchores.fp144.focalpointhosting.com/about-us/) and is not visible in the source for the page.

    2) The Navigation seems to be creating duplicate displays (About Us shows up twice).

I was wondering if anyone has experience with this and can point me in the right direction.

    Thanks,

    Joe

These problems are specific to the theme you are using. As a quick check, switch to the default twentyten theme and see what it shows. If all of the pieces are there (in different places/styles, of course) then it's definitely a theme problem.

Thanks. It's definitely a theme problem, as it looks fine using 20-10. I'm totally unfamiliar with the theme elements that control all of this, but at least this narrows it down somewhat.

    Thanks,
