convert popup comments into post info

    ok, I’m trying to simplify my blog. http://imagesbymajor.com
    currently I post 1 image a day, but I want to get rid of all the text surrounding the image(i.e. post title, date, time, any text I add to post etc.) into a pop up window which displays a thumbnail of the image. I was thinking of stripping down the popcomments template and inserting that info there. Anybody got any ideas how i can accomplish this?
