Content Manager Light
[resolved] Controlling where grid appears (4 posts)

I have bought the full version of this plugin, but as there is no 'support' page on your website, I guess I have to ask you a question here.

I'm having much the same problem now as with the light version. Once I have entered in a 'grid' system in the grid manager, once I save, that 'grid' then disappears and is replaced by an empty version of the grid manager.

The content you have added IS ON THE PAGE, but it can no longer be edited. That's my first problem. The second problem is that I cannot yet control where this 'grid' appears on my page. E.g. I want it to appear in between other wordpress page content.

I assume I would use shortcodes, but the beauty of the 'grid' manager is that I wouldn't have to mess around with getting all the different shortcodes embedded correctly one inside another in the HTML editor for wordpress pages and posts. As it is, when I insert with the Grid Manager, no shortcode actually appears in the HTML, so it's not like I can control things there either.

This is potentially a very good plugin, but at the moment, these constitute some very serious limitations in the User Interface. I hope it's just my inexperience with the plugin.

    Looking forward to your advice
    Mark

    Update:

Because of course, the problem with the content disappearing from the Grid Manager when you save the page, and then not appearing even as shortcode in the HTML editor, HOW DO YOU DELETE THE CONTENT if you no longer want it?

Okay. I didn't realise. However, I did find out how to fix this - the front end editor link is at the top of the page, and that gives me the control I was looking for. Feel free to delete this thread, Moderator.
