PeteI've made up a very simply plugin that hides the 'Available Widgets' in the widget section of the backend and therefore makes them unable to be used. This leaves only the 'Inactive Widgets' visible and able to be used.
This plugin is useful for those webmasters who want the widget section available for their clients to use but need to control which widgets are seen/available... this helps prevent a client from inserting an inappropriate widget into a sidebar.
It's too hard for me to upload into the repository it so I'm just advertising it here.
