control over spacing

I am using Better Anchor Links and I love it! It makes a once tedious task much simpler! Thank you!
The only issue I would like to see a little more control over is the ability to control how many spaces I can put in the content and it will still space the links the same. For instance, I am working on this page…. http://phsimcoach.com/?page_id=1712 (I have the coming soon mode active but hoping you can still see it). If I put more than a couple of spaces between the paragraph text and the <h2> tag then there is extra space in the anchor link list. As you can hopefully see the content and the pictures vary sometimes causing me to use many more spaces to make it look the way I want, resulting in a very messing Anchor Links list.
I thought about using a table but I hate working with tables no matter how simple they are! I would love in the control box of the plug in to say something like ignore extra space and always put link following previous…..LOVE your plugin, thank you again for a great tool!
