Contributor "posting" change

    Currently have a ‘library’ site where some posts are made by the “Administrator” and some posts made by “Contributors” We would like to see if a post made by an administrator can be converted and be placed under a contributor’s name/account so that a search by “Author” can be done accurately.

    Any insight to this would be helpful.

    I believe all you need to do is take advantage of the Bulk Edit features in WordPress Admin by going Posts -> All Posts, selecting all the posts you want to change the Author for, then from the Bulk Actions drop-down, select “Edit.”

    Once you have that screen you will see an “Author” drop-down from which you can select the new author for the posts and save your changes.
