    Hi,

Should a contributor be able to comment on their own post without moderation? Even if the blog's discussion settings are set to 'an administrator must always approve comments'?

We have a multisite where we have one user per school class. For example if Alice posts one thing (logged in as y6cc), and then Bob comments (as y6cc), the comment gets published straight away. Ideally, I would like all comments to require moderation.

    Thanks

    Joe.

  2. I want to say yes, someone who writes a post can both comment without moderation AND approve comments.

  3. I think it's pretty much baked right into WordPress that if you're the author of the post then your comments are always approved.
