Contributing to development

Hi there,
We’d like to contribute to development. We have already implemented some feature requests (e.g. cache-control) based on our own requirements for using this plugin.

Can we be accepted as contributors? If not, no problem, we’ll fork it, but we’d prefer not to duplicate efforts.
