I have tried multiple fixes and just can't seem to figure out what the problem is with resetting passwords on my website.
I have had multiple users complain that the reset password feature doesn't work properly. I just used the reset password feature here at wordpress.org and it worked the way it was intended, but that is not what occurs on my site. I thought it might be a plugin I was running, but I deactivated them and I continue to have the same problem.
When a user clicks the "lost password" button, it works as intended and they enter their username or password and a link is emailed to them.
When the link is clicked it takes them to a screen on my website prompting them to change their password.
After they have entered their new password and verified it, they click reset password, and they are directed back to the original lost password page.
It is a never ending loop, and the password never gets reset. I have tried to find answers to this in the forums, but it seems no one else is suffering a similar problem.
