   Hi, I am looking for a continious/scrolling latest news/recent post with pause for in my side bar. Can anyone please point me in the right direction.

   What you're looking for is a News Ticker.

   http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/news-ticker/

   There's a link to the news-ticker WordPress plugin, not entirely up to date but should work.

   this doesn't scroll and pause with mouse over, or have i just go the settngs wrong?
