I'm using a modified Blue Radiant theme and my content won't appear until AFTER the sidebars are finished in IE. It works fine on Firefox.
any help would be awesome

According to Google there 976 posts mentioning sidebar and IE :)
Something is too wide in your sidebar or central div or...
If your sidebar is 100px wide and you put in a pic of 101px - it will go down. -

which is top, right, left and bottom?

The numbers go top, right, bottom, left. Think the movement of the hands of the clock.
Also, check:

what "part" has those values? margins are outside distances of an element.
Is there a width value for the sidebar (or whatever it is called in your theme)? -
