Hi everyone.... So I need some advice. I'm trying to figure out the best way to structure a website that I'd like to build using WP. The particular site I want to build is going to be a kind of *online encyclopedia* of sorts and a pretty good example of the way I'd like the content to be organized can be found at the following URL:

Anyway, I'm pretty comfortable using WP, but I'm having a hard time deciding how I ought to set things up. For instance, should I use *pages* to display individual encyclopedia article entries? That was my first guess, but I'd really like to have some *tag* and *category* sorting functionality available. And as I just learned, that sort of functionality is not applicable to WP pages, just *posts*. So, should I create each article as a *post*? That though did occur to me, but I don't really want to use a *hack* to get that kind of functionality. Especially since (a) each entry will, for the most part, be *static* in nature and (b) I'd also like to have a *news and events* section of the site available for *posts*.
Well, that's the gist of my issue. Any ideas? Your thoughts on the subject would be appreciated. Thanks.
Best, chris10berg
