I'm transferring my corporate site to a new hosting service. My current site wrkengrs.com is still live, and I haven't switched the DNS yet because I want to be sure my new site is set up correctly.
When I use the preview DNS from my hosting service (godaddy), none of the content is visible. Only the home page is active. I get a "page not found error" when navigating to any other menu. It's not a permalink issue, as the content simply isn't in my upload.
I've replaced the WP-Content folder with my current site's wp-content folder. I've backed up and restored the database. I've edited the wp-config.php folder to current database info. I tried editing the index.php file from
require('./wordpress/wp-blog-header.php'); ...to... require('wordpress/wp-blog-header.php');
It looks like my content is simply not located in the wp-content folder. For example, there is no "services" folder in wp-content.
I'm able to download an XML backup of all my content (pages, posts etc) but I don't know what to do with it now that I have it.
