hello my content from my main pages are spilling over into the sidebar in places can someone please tell me what is going on using wordpress 2010 theme . Below is a screen shot and the domain is shopngv.com

my sidebar widget size is 300 if that helps , but I am sure that you can see this ....

Do not edit the Twenty Ten theme. It is the default WordPress 3.1 theme and having access to an unedited version of the theme is vital when dealing with a range of site issues.
Create a child theme for your customisations. Once your child theme is active, we should be able to help with the customisation.

I have a child theme that didnt help much
You are not using a child theme. You are using a modified version of Twenty Ten.

oh hahah - well I will create a child theme but could you just tell me where to go in the main theme and then I will do that in the child?
Try increasing the right margin on #content. It's currently only set to 280px - which is less than your sidebar's width.

I changed it to 300px seems to have worked!!!!

WordPress handles all of that automatically.

well I created I new folder with the css why wouldnt it be working?
Did you follow the instructions on Child_Themes? Especially the example child stylesheet?

okay I did it!!!!! but a bunch of things like pics / colors are off what do I do now, sorry I am helpless

okay everything seems to be back but my nav bar is not pulling the image files what can I do about that > ??
