Hello folks:
I would like to have
1) information that is publicly available and
2) information available ONLY to registered users
so that when a regular Joe visits there is content I see suitable for public and when one of my friends/family logs in they could enjoy everything I have uploaded?
How can I achieve this?

Thank you bekabug! Hidethis really does a great job and is awfully simple to use! Whatever you want private, you just tick a box and it is locked. Awesome, easy, working.
