Content disappearing when I add too much (4 posts)

    Having a problem on my self hosted wordpress blog. After I enter a certain amount of text on one page, the page shows up blank. If I delete a few lines of text the page shows up again. I add a few lines and the page goes blank again. This is all text in the page I am adding, no HTML so I know I am not messing up any code. I thought it was maybe the template, so I added the same text to another one of my blogs with a different template and it does the same thing.

    This also happened a while back on another blog, however, on that page I was adding a lot of html so I thought I was just messing up on my code and I gave up. Now I know it's not me.

    Ready to rip out what's left of my hair.

    However, not very detailed at at all. Any real fixes to this yet?

    Fixed

    This needs to be added to your wp-config.php file

    /** Trick for long posts */
    ini_set('pcre.recursion_limit',20000000);
    ini_set('pcre.backtrack_limit',10000000);

    Here is an example of it in my wp-config.php file

    /** The Database Collate type. Don't change this if in doubt. */

    define('DB_COLLATE', '');

    /** Trick for long posts */
    ini_set('pcre.recursion_limit',20000000);
    ini_set('pcre.backtrack_limit',10000000);

    Nothing needed to be added to my php.ini file. I'm with hostgator. Hopefully this will take care of everyones problem with limited posts.

    Thanks to henkholland at this thread

    Also make sure your wp-config.php permissions is set to 600.

    Thanks
