   Hi all-I've been trying to download the Contempt WordPress theme for the past couple of days now, but the link appears to be down(http://raven.za.net/index.php/contempt-wordpress-theme/).

   Is this theme available for download any place else - or can someone please post post a link that I can download it from?

   I did a search on themes.wordpress.net and received "No Results found". Is this theme no longer available for download?

   The entire site appears to be down... if you can find his contact info, try emailing him or something...

   The site that hosts the original theme is down and a new location will be available shortly.

   you can send a request to myself paul.kain@gmail.com and I'll ask Dave to host it somewhere else for now

   I tried to get contempt 1.0 as a wordpress.org theme, too. Somewhere, I found the information that it is no longer supported by the author, but now a wordpress.com theme. Is there any possibility to get it for my blog, running on my personal server? It still runs on my wordpress.com blog account, and I'd like to get the same layout with my home server blog.
   As an alternative, I need a 2 column theme with sidebar widgets, the intuitive widget installer, customized header image and the flickr widget running...

   Hi,
   thanks for your link info. Unfortunately, in this version of contempt I miss some functions which are active in the wordpress.com-version, like blog stats, feed stats and custom image header plugin. Do you know where I can find these plugins? Or the whole wordpress.com theme? I am hosted on my own server. Thanks for your help!

    Hi colso - I think the wordpress.com themes have some extra benefits, such as stats, that you won't find with your own hosting. I have the same problem but my hosting does provide stats outside of the wordpress functionality.

    colso the wordpres.com site's version of contempt makes use of widgets, you can download widgets and install them for most themes
