Doesn’t anyone notice there is no anti spam measure in place with the contact form?

I’m getting spam but like using this contact form so what can I do?

Guests should be able to submit the form. Although I could make it log in only but only if there is no other way.

    Howdy,

If you have an active Akismet key on your site (via the Akismet plugin), we check contact form submissions through that service. The same key will work for comment submissions and the contact form.

    Cheers!

Are there any plans to give the admin more control over which anti spam plugin is used?

The plugin’s code has the filters and hooks so that another anti-spam plugin could hook into the contact form submission processed and be used instead of Akismet. Akismet itself is simply hooked into there already as default if is it available.

There is not a plan to add a user interface for this.
