Contact form never displays (1 post)

Added a "Contact" page to my site and wanted it to include a basic contact form for users to send me e-mail.

The Support section seemed to indicate that if I put "[contact-form]" in the page text, I'll get the contact form I want. But when I display the page all I get is the bracketed text above.

So I search the plug-ins and found "WP Contact Form". So I used the dashboard to download, install and configure this plug-in. It said to put "<!-- contact form -->" in the page text to display its contact form. Did that but I'll I get is the HTML comment and not the actual contact form.

Any ideas on what's wrong? Thanks in advance!
