Contact Form 7 to include post name and custom field info (3 posts)

    Hi,

I'm needing a solution for a client who needs a contact form which the user sends in regards to a specific post.

User clicks button and is taken to a contact form which has the Post name and a custom field entry taken from the post added into it. So my client knows the custom field (reference number) and post title included in the email he gets.

I like Contact Form 7 and very used to it - especially file uploads as well, but has anyone had any success in doing this?

Whether this is a unique form on the page itself or just one form which recieves the required data, any solution will do.

I found this plugin but it looks outdated now... =/

    Any help appreciated.

    Phil

Im on need of the same functionality, my client has a job board and I want to get the post title (open position job) and use it in a hidden text field, so it can get saved into the database using cfbdplugin (http://cfdbplugin.com/?page_id=747) a part from sending it to the email.

I managed to sort this. I used a plugin called 'Contact Form 7 Modules' to create hidden fields in the form. These hidden fields can be used to grab post titles and custom fields from the post and then use like any other shortcode in the email - including the email subject.

I then dropped the shortcode for the form into my post template and voila, it worked perfectly.

Hope this helps, but it worked for my Job Board application form.
