    Hello,

    Please see http://www.max-roach.com. Go to page Contact Us (b).

    I have a black website, called "Constructor", and I cannot see the text in the fields and I cannot see the "Submit" button.

    Please help.

    Thank you.

    Hi,
    Ah, Max Roach.... cool! I've done a lot of time playing jazz guitar, and have certainly enjoyed his work.

    I'm guessing you're using crummy Internet Explorer - it seems not to like displaying the text because it stays white. Firefox displays the text fine by changing to a dark background color when you click on any box. Otherwise you're in for some annoying work making IE behave.

    You have the Constructor theme, and there may be many other options for making this look good. But short of that, here's a quick idea:

    Go to Appearance, Editor, click on Stylesheet on the far lower right, and add this bit of code, and save.

    .contact-form input {
     color: #AFAFAF;
    }

    This will make the text greyish, even in IE.

    Oh, and check the typo on the homepage before publicizing it! :)

    I hope that helps,
    Dave

    Thank you Flamenco for taking time to help me.

    Unfortunately, I haven't been able to implement the code correctly enough to rectify the problem. However, it did work on the Grunion style sheet! Grunion doesn't have a database but I may have to use it anyway.

    Actually, no code changes the form. I'm editing "contact-form-7/admin/styles.css" and also tried to edit "contact-form-7/styles.css" but there are no changes to the form at all.

    My browser is Safari.

    I wonder what's creating that odd color in the first place. I'm guessing you have some other plugin messing that up.

    Something on the form changed, so I can see why my first code would not work. You could try this code instead.

    .wpcf7-text {
    color: #AFAFAF;
    }

    Beyond that, you'll probably have to get a geek to help you. Or, as you said, just try some other contact form.

    Good luck.
