I'm having the same issue. Contact Form 7 is giving me the red box and the OOTB contact form is not working. The submit button does nothing...

I'm not getting a red box. I just get the spinning icon when I submit the form. It goes on forever.

    Has anyone found a solution?

I just resolved this problem for a client's site. Here's what I did:

    1. Created an email address on Godaddy with the same domain of the site. ie. If your site was google.com, your email address would need to be something@google.com
    2. Used this email address as the form's From email address.
    3. Waited! (GoDaddy is slow, it may take up to 15 minutes to get an email after it is sent.)

Note: We are on Linux hosting.

If you are using Window's hosting, here is an article that might help.

    Good luck.

I had this same problem last weekend but it seemed to spontaneously correct itself.

All of my Contact Forms (CF7) stopped working and no mail was sent for three days. After more than a half-dozen calls to GoDaddy support, they started "mysteriously" working again on the weekend.

One thing I did (and would recommend) is to move your site to their Grid hosting plan (no charge for moving, just a 24-48 hour domain propagation period) and get off of their legacy system if you're on it. Much faster load times (and quite possibly part of the problem with the forms not working).

VelvetBlues.com's response fixed the issue for me.

If this happens to you, I would recommend downloading the following plug-ins: WP-MAIL-SMTP and Contact Form 7. Afterward, use the link below for plugging in the correct settings:

    http://angstrey.com/index.php/2009/07/20/contact-form-7s-failed-to-send-your-message-error/

Other config settings (these are posted on the GoDaddy support site if you know where to look or what to search for):

Send via FTP , SMTP Host: relay-hosting.secureserver.net, Port 25, No encryption, No SMTP auth

Dantes game what do you mean? Used this email address as the form's From email address. Should it not be in the To field?
