Hi, I’ve noticed that there are a bunch of custom fields showing since upgrading Contact Form 7 last week. Specifically, on my Post > Custom Fields menu, these fields are now available:

    – additional_settings
    – form
    – mail
    – mail_2
    – messages

So, now when I got to edit any post on the site, the custom fields dropdown menu shows these 5 additional options which will certainly confuse some of the website editors.

Looking in the database, there is a single post with the title “Contact Form 1” and this post is where these 5 custom fields are being defined. Apparently, the plugin stores these settings as a post in WordPress which is fine, but showing these options as custom field options for ALL other posts in WordPress is not cool.

Sure, I could just delete these from the database, but it appears that doing so would ruin the customization options for my contact form. Any ideas on how to block these 5 custom field options from showing when editing other posts?

    Thanks!
    Matt
