HI!

I found out tonight, that when people tried writing an email to me using the 'short cut' with my email address on my contact page, I wasn't receiving the emails, even though the email address is right. I removed the option, for now, and left my email address, where people could copy and paste it. But how come the link didn't work, and is there any way I could access all the emails I never received. This is bad for business.
I don't have much knowledge with computers, hence the explanation above, I'd appreciate any help I can get.

Thank you so much!

Laura

I don't understand what you mean with 'short cut'. Do you have a link to the page in question so I can see?

Have you set the email address you are referring to within the wordpress admin panel of your site, -if you are using a contact form at the site in question?

Hi Felix,

Thanks so much for answering!

The page Im talking about is the following: http://www.lauraregev.com/contact/
Now, by link I mean, that before i removed the option, when you use to click on email at lauraregev@hotmail.com, it automatically opened people's email page, and they would write me an email. I discovered that if people send it that way, I wouldn't receive the emails, even though the email adress in itself is right. Something about the path maybe? I didn't do my own website, hence I don't know where the path is (if that even exists). But this is what I erased from that page: to remove the automatic mailing to, and replaced with my email adress (which now needs to be copied and pasted).
Is there any way to find the emails I lost?

I hope this makes sense.

That last part, saying, this is what I erased was really this:

a title="Send me an Email" href="mailto:lauraregev@hotmail.com

Ok. Well you can do it like this,

For example -

Link Text

When it comes to your lost emails. If they aren't within your inbox, spam box, trash box etc... well then you haven't any of them of course and the only way to receive them is to send the emails again...

Why you won't receive the emails, I don't know.
