    Can anyone help me with this? I would like the remove the horizontal menu from my front page only. I've had a hunt around the net and I can't seem to find an answer that works! Help, thanks!

    Add Conditional tag for only home page in your header.php for

    <?php
    if (!is_home() ) {
        // Display Horizontal Navigation
    }
    ?>

    for more information - http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/is_home

    Hi Tarsem,

    That doesn't seem to work. I also tried using is_front_page instead of is_home, though I'm not sure if that would be a relevant change in this situation. Do you have any other ideas? I'm continuing to tinker with it but I think I am stuck on this one.
    Thank you for your help!!

    Finally figured it out! In case anyone else ends up here, I changed

    <?php get_constructor_menu() ?> to <?php if (!is_home()){ ?> <get_constructor_menu() ?><?php } ?>

    Thanks for your help Tarsem!

    Actually, no, that just took the menu away entirely. Was so excited. So, still open...

    it need to login to see your site.
    doesn't really clear with what you mean, but if you mean to not using the sidebar only in your home page, you may just set your home page to use monocolumn template that you can choose in the right side when you editing the page.
