constructing query string

    Using WP-Types I created CPT writer and assigned it to CPT journal.

    I’d like to counstruct a query of all the articles of journal post type written by a certain writer – olegh-bondarenko.

    From the admin side the query works fine:
    http://urps.info/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=journal&writer=olegh-bondarenko

    But from the front side all my attempts to construct proper query have been failed so far, e.g.:
    http://urps.info/?post_type=journal&writer=olegh-bondarenko
    http://urps.info/journal/writer/olegh-bondarenko
    http://urps.info/journal/tax/writer/olegh-bondarenko

    Please point me out to a right direction.
