   Hi,

   I fully realize this is a vague issue with a TON of possibilities, but I'm having a problem that started recently. When people go to my site, which is WP 2.7.1 self hosted with a LAMP install (Ubuntu Linux 8.10), sometimes they get an error that says "Cannot Open the Page because the server stopped responding". This happens after about a minute of "churning", and my site's login page never renders.

   I've had others try to connect, and have literally seen some people get in, while others get the cannot connect error. I don't see anything in my Apache or PHP logs that indicate any sort of issue.

   Could this be some sort of WordPress issue? If so, any thoughts on what I could look at to try and fix it?
