Hi guys,
I am trying to install a new wordpress (2.6.1).
I have upload the file up.
And the system points to a file where I need to create the wp-config.php.
I click that "Create a configuration File" and received this error
"The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.
The network link was interrupted while negotiating a connection. Please try again."
I am running my WP on IIS, MySql and Win server. How can I rectify this problem?

Hmm... So, you are running the install through a browser on the local server? That likely rules out an actual network problem.
Is the directory where the configuration file supposed to be created writable by IIS?
Yups, we have made the directory writable.
Thanks,

Try turning off the firewall on the windows server for the install?
there is no firewall on the windows server for the install
Anyway, I have trying to install WordPress version 2.5 and version 2.6 on WIMP - not working
I also have trying install locally on my PC , but using WAMP (thru easyphp2.5 - http://www.easyphp.org/index.php). Software has no problem. And, also thru LAMP (on my server) – everything is okay.
In your wordpress directory you should have a file name wp-config-sample.php or something close. Change the name to wp-config.php if you haven't.
You're probably just getting that error because of a write issue?!?! Don't know. But try that first.
sorry, WIMP, I meant Window, IIS, MySql
that file not yet created - wp-config ...
It's suppose to be there when you first downloaded wordpress... the wp-config-sample.php
If not... just email me tips [@] treycruz.com and I'll send you a copy.
oh okay ... yup, it was there. I mistaken it as wp-config (without the sample). thanks
