try manually re-uploading all files and folders EXCEPT the wp-config.php file and the /wp-content/ directory from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones. Read the Manual Update directions first!

Hi did you have a backup Database file? Usually that is all that needs to be uploaded to the MySql Database server. (Usually this can be found on the Hosting account CPanel. Check in the File Manager for a .gz or .sql file, download to your computer. Then use the Database manager to re-upload / IMPORT it to the Database.
I use the WP plugin “Updraft” and it saves all files and database file into your FTP account (Free) Bit late now maybe, but some hosts have automatic backup functions and you might find the database file there..? Good luck, Groggo
