Connecting to WordPress.com

I have purchased a hosting package from Network Solutions which automatically installed WordPresss. Now there is a large banner about JetPack, saying it is installed and all I have to do is activate it. When I click to do so it ask for user name and psw…it tells me my credentials are no good and wants me to enroll.
I don’t know how to deal with this… Is there a way to get JetPack in this situation or failing that to get rid of the big banner?
