The program has installed and authenticated just fine, it displays just fine on my page, but when I go to Submit with one of the allowed file types, it just says "Connecting" forever.
Yesterday, it was giving me specific error messages...today, without changing anything, it just says connecting. I have tried closing and opening my browser, changing the settings from Curl to PHP to PEAR -- I have tried changing the file extensions allowed. Nothing will make the plugin do anything but say "connecting" up on my tab.
Can anyone provide any help? I'd love to get this plugin working.

Are you on shared hosting? There could be a firewall of some sort blocking the outgoing connection.

I don't know what that means. I am on HostGator and I do run multiple sites off of it. Using WooThemes "Simplicity" theme on this partciular site (triggerhappyrecords.com, and it's the "Submit" page where I'm having trouble).
Any ideas?

I'm now also getting an error message on a different computer that says "Error: allowed file extensions: .zip" -- the file extension I tried to upload was a zip.
So I tried changing my "Allowed file extensions" in Simple Dropbox from ".zip" to just "zip" -- then I tried again and I now get a message saying "Error: Uploading file to Dropbox failed-0"
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If I change from CURL to PHP oAuth or PEAR oAuth, I get taken to a new page where it tells me:
Fatal error: Call to a member function setToken() on a non-object in /home/rampart/public_html/triggerhappyrecords.com/wp-content/plugins/simple-dropbox-upload-form/wp-dropbox.php on line 272
Please set it to curl and add jpg and jpeg to the allowed extensions

Done, tried to upload a jpeg and it worked for awhile and then gave me "Error: Uploading file to Dropbox failed-0"
I think host gator might be blocking the connection to dropbox but I can't know for sure without looking at the host settings. If you could email me directly I might be able to help troubleshoot it a little better. Hiphopsmurf at hiphopsmurf dot com
