I have uploaded WordPress onto my space and have put in the correct log in details for Mysql. it opens up in browser but with an error screen:

    Error establishing a database connection
This either means that the username and password information in your wp-config.php file is incorrect or we can't contact the database server at DB_HOST. This could mean your host's database server is down.

Are you sure you have the correct username and password?
Are you sure that you have typed the correct hostname?
Are you sure that the database server is running?

I have spoken with my hosting company and they have checked the database and tell me that all is working fine their end...

and have put in the correct log in details for Mysql

    Obviously, you didn't.
Q: Does the DB user has all the privileges?

    EDIT. Scrap that!
    This line:
we can't contact the database server at DB_HOST shows you put the data in the wrong place!!!

Have you checked that the information in your wp-config.php file is correct?
