    Hello,

First of all, thank you for this great plugin, this is by far the best socializer I have tried :)

My only gripe is that after I login using either fb, twitter or G+ (did not try other ones), the home page remains the same, I mean it still shows as if I was not connected and I have to reload it to show user menus.

I tried to login normally, ie without using a social network, and it works fine, it only happens when I use social login.

This issue only occurs when I am redirected to the home page after login.

FYI, I use the Classipress theme and here is my URL: http://www.lecoinduson.fr

    Thanks for your help :)

    Hi there,

First of all, thank you for this great plugin, this is by far the best socializer I have tried :)

That's why it is called Super Socializer :D

I tried logging in your website using Social Login but could not find the issue you mentioned. I tried it on Google Chrome.
Can you tell me the device configuration (mobile/computer, operating system, browser etc) on which you faced this issue?
Also try deactivating any cache plugin you may be using at your website.

Meanwhile I noticed one issue with Facebook login. When clicked for login it displayed a message - "This app is not configured properly" and I was not able to login. Please try following the Facebook app configuration steps again or create another app to fix it.

Thanks for your quick reply :)

I disabled the cache plugin, same result :(

I tried on Chrome, Firefox and IE on a PC (Windows 7), and also on Safari on a Mac (Mavericks), same result each time :( Whenever I click Connexion in the top right corner of the page and connect using Social Login, I am redirected to the home page and I cannot access user menus until I reload the page or browse to another page.
However, when I click DEPOSER UNE ANNONCE in the blue header, I am properly redirected to the intended page (not the home page) and it clearly shows I am connected. This really puzzles me :(

Thank you for pointing out the FB issue, this is probably because I had not taken the app live and as it worked for me, I had not noticed it, but now it is live and everything should be OK.

    Thanks!

Can you explain which user menus you are unable to access first time?

The user name and the links in the top right corner (Bienvenue XX [Tableau de bord | Déconnexion]) do not display the first time the home page appears right after login, it still reads Bienvenue visiteur [Inscription | Connexion], and also the first side widget (Bienvenue sur...) is still the one intended for unregistered/not connected users. It should be replaced with a user menu giving access to the user dashboard.

    Hope this helps!

Every time I tried logging in, I got the user menus and the widget at the right displaying my username, in first attempt.
Try cleaning your browser cache as mentioned at following link. This must resolve the issue:
    Clear browser cache

Also you can ask your friends to try logging in at your website.

    Thanks again for your time!

This is a crazy issue... I tried many potential solutions and sometimes it does work, but most of the time it does not, whatever the platform (PC, Mac or mobile) or the browser, cached cleared or even freshly installed... I am wondering if this is not due to my connecting with multiple different accounts from the same IP or something... Anyway, if it works for you, I guess it works for other users who usually use a single account to connect ;)

No this is not related to using multiple different account from same IP, for sure. I also use multiple accounts from same IP.
I would suggest you to use it at your website. I am sure this is something at your environment and your website users won't face this issue.
If your website users also face this issue, do let me know.

I have checked another famous social login plugin and I do not experience this issue in my environment :( Anyway, I will stick to Super Socializer for the moment as I do not want to rely on an external service, let's wait and see...
During my investigations, I have noticed that the above mentioned plugin did update the last_login value in the database (table wp_usermeta > field meta_key) while Super Socializer does not, but I do not know if this could be related though :(

No this is not related to the issue. Plugins save these fields for tracking the login.
