Confused with Site Path

    What is /home used for?

    If /home is your homepage, you just want it to be / not /home

    To get permalinks enabled, you want to go to Settings > Permalinks and either select a permalink schema or set one yourself.

    I tried using permalinks before and I completely screwed up the entire site and none of the pages were being published online. I need the home page to go to thegritstree.org but the only thing that shows up there now is a search area.

    Go to settings > reading > select “a static page” > in the “front page” dropdown, select the page you want to be your home page. > save changes
