   Hello I'm pretty new so bear with me please. I have made a site that has a menu such as

   about us | products | news | contact

   They are all pages^

   On the front page of the site (index.php) I have my design with no text or posts just a design with the nav bar

   I want to make "news" my blog

   Right now when I post and don't assign a catagory it shows up on the news page automatically(I don't know how that works) but the post is only text, like if I add a picture it doesn't show up. But If I view that post like "preview post" I can see the full post. I tried selecting the differnt template options "default, blog etc" but the full blog post doesn't show up. I tried a News catagory as well and its the same thing

   Can some one explain to me how to make my news "page" my blog

   I think there should be a theme options area in your admin panel.You can probably change these settings from there.

   Go to Settings -- Reading -- Front page displays
   You should see radio button selections. Choose "A static page" and then specify what is your home page and what is your posts (blog) page.

   which theme are you using?

   The theme options are "disable" thumbnails .......but they are all unchecked

    i dont know about this theme...Try the options out and maybe it will help..
