The problem is simple: Genesis Grid Loop ceases to function when activating the Events Calendar plugin by Tribe (http://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar/). I’ve tested and confirmed this on multiple installs (locally). When looking at the source code, I see that the .one-third classes have been removed, which leads me to the conclusion that Genesis Grid Loop’s queries are being blocked by The Events Calendar. As they both perform loop queries and both have grid layout functionalities (the Events Calendar has a month view that is kind of like a grid), I suspect there is a conflict here.

Is there any way this could be solved? Thanks!

I don’t use that plugin, but my guess is they are running their own custom query to list the events, or they are not using the post_class() function to generate the classes for the events.

If you decide to change event calendar plugins, take a look at BE Events Calendar 🙂
