Thank you for letting me know about the plugin conflict. I took a look at the plugin you mentioned. I’ll have to find out how they customize the admin UI, and maybe I can get the post list to show in their setup. Will let you know when I find a solution!

No problemo. I’ll pray that the plugins can work together in the future πŸ™‚

I looked at the other support thread – I see it’s partly working, that’s hopeful!

So, courses and WooCommerce products aren’t showing. Do they show up in the admin menu post list when WP Admin UI Customize is deactivated? If so, it must be how they’re changing the menu.

Or, if these post types aren’t showing up in AMPL regardless of the other plugin, it could be that these post types have a special status or naming, e.g., starting with ‘_’.

    Hi niwin and Eliot,

My name is gqevu6bsiz. I’m developer for WP Admin UI Customize.

Currently I think to I alone support is completely difficult with AMPL.
Because, WP Admin UI Customize is customize based of already output menu.
In other words, Plugin user can customize only static post menu of AMPL.

If I show the other way, settings that ignore the WP Admin UI Customize.
    For ignore information:

If dynamic output support, I think that there is need to consider for output of both plugin.
What do you think of my ideas?

    – This is another subject –
    Sorry, WooCommerce is supported already.
If you have any problems, please contact me.

    Thanks,
    gqevu6bsiz

Yes, when I deactivate WP Admin UI Customize your plugin is working fine for my courses and products. No problem what so ever.

OK, I’ll look into it deeper. Maybe I need to detect WP Admin UI Customize, then change the location where AMPL outputs the post list.

I’ll post here when I find out more.

    Hi,

    I found a maybe cause .

I’m sorry for modification without asking to Eliot of permission.
If you don’t mind, please try the below plugin.

    For niwin,
When using the above plugin, Please try working by add menu from available menu of side menu settings.
    Screen of Side menu settings

I think to cause is maybe menu slug none when custom posts. Sorry if I’m wrong.

    Thanks,

Thank you so much for the fixes. I tested the changes, especially for custom post types, and I believe the issue is resolved.

I made an update to the plugin (version 1.4) – so, niwin, it’d be great if you could confirm that it works.

    Thanks again, gqevu6bsiz!

    Hi

I updated to v.1.4, but still the conflict remains. With the beta/dev verstion of Customize UI, it shows the posts and pages – but still not my courses/products, and with the regular version nothing shows.

    Hi niwin,
Thank you for your reply and I’m sorry I did not seem to help you.
    Let me confirm this.

I just use to beta/dev verstion of Customize UI and AMPL ver 1.4, I had see like this screens with Woocommerce and Custom Post Type.
I think AMPL is correctly working.

Could you show me your settings screen? and, could you tell me please is setting to menu of AMPL? (Do you have any value?)
    Settings screen of Side menu

If you have not any values, please re settings from Menu items that can be added.

    Thanks,

Hi – Thanks for great feedback. I just added the (one) course/product/course leader that was available to my menu, and now all of my courses/products/course leaders are showing.

Only works with the dev/beta version of Customize UI though, but I suppose next stable release will include this “fix” πŸ™‚

Thanks again for the great work!

    Hi,
I’m glad for your seem working correctly.
But I’m sorry, I don’t support yet the dynamic menu of the AMPL.
It means that, It is not updated when added to newly post.

I will consider in the next stable version.

    Thank you for niwin, Eliot.

    Hi gqevu6bsiz,

Thank you so much for helping with this. To be honest, I’m not sure how I can change the dynamic output of AMPL to work well with Admin Customize UI. Maybe if ACUI could “send a message” to AMPL (by..setting a global variable true/false?) it can respond with the right kind of output. Or, when ACUI is active, AMPL could “hook” into the right place?

If you have any ideas how I can help with this, please let me know.

Thank you both – I wish you the best of luck with this πŸ™‚
