• It looks like Invite Anyone conflicts with BuddyPress Group Email Subscription v3.4. This is on my WP v3.8.1 install with the following additional plugins:

    Disable Updates Manager 3.4.0
    Easy FancyBox v1.5.6
    Events Manager v5.5.2
    Mass Messaging in BuddyPress v1.1.5
    Menu Items Visibility Control v0.3
Private Community for BP Lite v4.0
    Remove Dashboard Access v1.0

  • Thank you for downloading Disable Updates Manager. I can tell you that it is most likely not Disable Updates Manager that is causing the problem.

You can try deactivating all of your plugins except Invite Anyone and BuddyPress. If that fixes it that activate each plugin one by one.

If that doesn’t work then can you give us some more details.

In what way does Invite Anyone conflict with BuddyPress Group Email Subscription? Can you please give details about the problem you seem to be having?

Group notification emails fail to be sent. After typing in a post, when you hit submit, the spinner keeps going and never stops. If you then navigate to a new page and back to the group, you see that the post has been saved.

It is definitely Invite Anyone that is causing the problem as everything functions fine when Invite Anyone is disabled. I have no idea why Websiteguy is referring to Disable Updates Manager as I never claimed it to be the problem.
