conflict with buddypress akismet

    Hi Keith i have an urgent issue on live sites hoping you can fix …. if you have buddypress installed and akismet scanning activity enabled in buddypress settings admin ……….and your plugin activated ….akismet marks everything entered into the what’s new activity update box as spam

    i’ve confirmed this on more than one site can you release a fix please?

    I’ve just tested on my BuddyPress sites and I do not have any problems. As far as I know the latest version of Stop Spammers doesn’t rely on Akismet for anything for the time being. As Keith disabled it until he could find out why there was an issue with Akismet and Stop Spammers some time ago.

    thank you mickey your right it wasn’t the stop spammers plugin ….what’s crazy is i have no idea other than buddypress itself …akismet simply does not work on my site as far as buddypress goes …works great for wordpress comments though
