Anybody help with this? I still can’t find a solution! This problem also exists for the plugin: Pinterest Pin It Button For Images but NOT for Hover Pin-It. I like this plugin the best so I would prefer not to switch to Hover Pin-It but may have to if I can’t solve this….

Still, no-one can help with this? I am using both plugins on my site, http://www.thestrugglingwriter.com/, but the conflict is still present and driving me nuts…

Hi Struggling, are you still having the issue? Looking at your site, I don’t seem to find any problems. IF there still are please tell me where to look.

Hi there. I am still having the issue! There are titles associated with the images in my posts. When I click those images, a lightbox opens and the title should appear under this box. This works if I disable your plugin, but when I enable it the titles still don’t appear! Thanks,

OK, I see what you mean. That Pin-it thing wraps the actual thumbnail image in a div (with button) so suddenly FancyBox cannot find the alt attribute anymore and concludes there is no title to show.

And you are using NextGEN gallery? What if you use the normal WordPress way of inserting an image in a post, giving it a Title (same as Alt) and linking it to ‘Media File’ (not Attachement page)?

I think i already habe pictures inserted in the way you describe. I have only used NextGEN on one of my posts so far… The conflict, however, exists on all posts. Thanks for the help,

Ok, so the same thing happens when you insert images the ‘normal’ way… The only thing you can do, I suppose, if you want to keep both plugins, is editing each image link manually.

Open the post for editing and switch to the HTML tab. Then find the thumbnail image with link code. It might look like this (wrapped in [caption] shortcodes if you gave it a description) :

    <a href="http://www.thestrugglingwriter.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/SuperBrain.jpg"><img class="size-medium wp-image-167 " title="100% Superbrain!" alt="100% Superbrain!" src="http://www.thestrugglingwriter.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/SuperBrain-300x300.jpg" width="300" height="300"/></a>

Now give the link tag a title attribute like this:

    <a title="100% Superbrain!" href="...

A little painful, but it works! Many thanks,
