confirmation link does not work

    i used the registration form of pie register to register a new user. he gets a mail with a confirmation link. but without clicking it, he is able to login immediatly. conclusion = completely useless plugin.
    also i noticed the new user was directly inserted in wp_user table. expected to see him in a temporary table until he confirms membership with the link…

    Hello,

    It’s not possible a user could have logged in without verifying their email when Email Verification is ON. Please verify that setting is turned ON.
    Also, did you contact our support for this issue?
    Regarding your other Question: There is no harm in inserting an unverified user when they are set to automatically delete upon expiration of the time limit set in the back end. This is done as a courtesy to the user.
