   Hi,

   I'm having the same problem. When a new user registers for my blog site, they are not receiving an email with a temporary password. Where is the setting to enable this feature? Is it in a wp file, in the database? Where?

   How do you configure this to work?

   I'm running it on a Windows platform with no problems other than this. I did update to the latest version over the weekend without a problem and never actually tested the registration feature prior to the upgrade.

   I'm bumping this up because I'm having the same issue. It seems that nobody is answering this registration email problems. I'm using WP 2.7 on a windows server. Any help would be appreciated.

   Use SMTP email plugin. Works an absolute treat for me :)!
