Configure popup appearance?

How would one go about changing the appearance of the popups? I’d like to be able to modify background colour/transparency, rounded corners, size, and such. Yup… I am sadly a newb and not experienced at getting into the guts of the code… but I’ll try anything once 🙂

Also (if it’s okay to ask two questions…) is there any way to fine tune the image map areas, either while drawing them or after they are in place? Whenever I try to ZOOM in for greater accuracy the imagemap area moves away from the imagemap.
