Configuration on a shared hosting/SSL solution?

Hi,

I have pretty much zero experience of using https/SSL before, so apologies if this is a stupid question, but we’re having trouble configuring this plugin on our site.

We have been given the following details from the host regarding the SSL certificate:

Secure SSL: https://secure11.prositehosting.co.uk/formdata
IP Address: 11.11.11.11
Server folder: /htdocs/formdata

In the plugin settings, I set the ‘SSL Host’ to the Secure SSL path listed above: https://secure11.prositehosting.co.uk/formdata

However, we’re having two problems:

1) I can only access the SSL files from going to https://secure11.prositehosting.co.uk/formdata – anything uploaded to the /formdata/ folder via FTP is listed there.

2) When I go to https://www.oursite.co.uk I get an error saying “You attempted to reach http://www.oursite.co.uk, but instead you actually reached a server identifying itself as https://secure11.prositehosting.co.uk. This may be caused by a misconfiguration on the server or by something more serious.”

Could anyone please help us configure this? Or is it not possible using the shared hosting and shared SSL certificate that we have?
