    Hi,

    Easy Modal looks really great, but I have a couple questions that I can’t seem to find clear answers to in the documentation (or maybe i’m just not very familiar with the language).

    Can I configure the non pro version of Easy Modal to automatically open an announcement window when the visitor first loads a page on my WordPress site and, after the visitor closes the page, this window will not re-appear again on that or any other page on the site?

    Thanks!
    Susan

    This can be setup in a few clicks with the Pro version and the core ability to make this work is there in the free but you would need to build the javascript functions to open the modal as well as cookie management.

    To open a modal using JS you can simply use

    $(‘#eModal-1’).emodal(‘open’);

    With the pro you can configure not only cookie timers, but a seperate auto open and/or exit modal for each page/post.

    Roadmap for upcoming versions include A/B Testing and Analytics, multi staged auto open modals ( first visit shows modal 1, next visit a week later shows modal 2 etc ).

    Thanks for your speedy response! I will probably pick up the Pro version. 🙂

    Thats great, i’m sure if you asked any current pro users the support we offer usually more than pays for the price of the plugin.

    Please take a moment to rate and review the plugin once youve tried it http://wordpress.org/support/view/plugin-reviews/easy-modal
