I didn't get far into looking at this as it had an error show right away at the top of my blog. I admit to being a fumbling newb who follows simple instructions well. ?? thks dan

I kinda doubt that the plugin is over 2000 lines long. It looks like something got corrupted when you were uploading. Did you use ftp in ASCII mode if not that is what should be use for files with text in them. Delete the plugin and upload again this time in ASCII mode.

I think this bug was in versions 3.0 and 3.0.1, it should not happen with version 3.0.2
For information, it is not a conflict with any plugin. But the plugin file contained some blank lines after the last closing ?> of the php tag which was causing this problem.
