Been working on this site waterheatersnyc.com for the last 3 years, it’s basically my entire lives work! so I’m kinda freaking out.

I have a recent backup file so I’m not at melt-down yet, but for some odd reason all the content is gone from each and every page, post, everything. When I’m logged and go into edit each page or post I can see all the content and pictures right as it’s supposed to be, but then I click update and go to check the page out, and it shows nothing but the title. I have over 80 pages in the nav, and another 60 in blog section. No content is showing anywhere. I’m hoping this is just a silly mistake, but this seemed to happen right happen after I updated the theme plug-in yesterday. waterheatersnyc.com

Beyond grateful for any help. J Sullivan

water heating guy- (not a computer guy) I will not comprehend any instructions that involve code, programming, FTP, accessing the CSS (I read about that stuff all the time but I’m clueless) I’m an expert in high-efficiency hydronic heating and heat recovery systems- not websites. I can only click buttons, I apologies ahead of time. Thank you very much for sharing any time and energy with my issue!

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

I deactivated all and my content is back. I will go through each one and post the problem plugin, in case anyone else is having this problem. Thank you so much esmi- I couldn’t sleep last night.

    Glad I could help 🙂

Strange. I reactivated each one, one by one, and they all are working and so is the site. Without that error. I’m glad to have gotten this solved, sorry for wasting good front page forum space with this. JS
